About us
A pest control company that starts at the foundation
Every job we take starts the same way: a walk around the outside of the building. That habit came from working in a town full of old brick and stone, where pests get in through the structure long before they show up in the kitchen. It still shapes how we work from Belleville to Carlyle.

Belleville Pest Control is a pest control company serving Belleville and the Metro East from a service office at 914 Main Street, Suite 2700C in downtown Belleville, with our head office in Springfield, Missouri. Our own technicians handle termites, household insects, bed bugs, rodents and wildlife across St. Clair, Madison, Monroe, Clinton, Washington and Randolph counties, and the phone is answered 24 hours a day.
How we work
Perimeter first, then inward
Most pest problems start at the edge of the building: a gap in a stone foundation, mulch piled against the siding, a gnawed corner of a garage door, an unscreened vent. So before any product comes out, a technician walks the full perimeter, notes the entry points and conditions, and identifies the pest by species. The treatment follows from what that walk finds, which is why a 1920s brick home near the square and a new build in O'Fallon rarely get the same visit.
We would rather seal a gap than sell you bait every winter, trap a mouse than leave it to die in a wall, and confirm bed bugs before charging to treat them. Those choices are not always the cheapest first visit, but they are the ones that end problems.
What we hold to
Six habits behind every visit
- 01
Identification before treatment
The species decides the method, so we name it first, from the insect, the evidence or your photo.
- 02
Quotes before work
You hear the price on the phone and it is confirmed on site before anything is applied.
- 03
Exclusion over repeat visits
Sealing the routes in is the part of rodent and wildlife work that lasts.
- 04
Plain talk about timelines
Baits take days, egg cycles take weeks, and we say so rather than promise one-visit miracles.
- 05
Humane wildlife handling
Bats are excluded, not killed; family dens are removed together; Illinois wildlife rules are followed.
- 06
Answering the phone
Calls are answered 24 hours a day, because wasp stings and bats in bedrooms do not wait for business hours.
Where we work
Belleville and the Metro East
Our trucks leave the Main Street office every morning for routes across St. Clair County, north into Madison County as far as Edwardsville, Granite City and Alton, south into Monroe and Randolph counties through Columbia, Waterloo, Red Bud and Sparta, and east into Clinton and Washington counties out to Carlyle Lake, Okawville and Nashville. The service areas page has local detail for each county and the bigger towns.
Most days our own technicians handle every call on the schedule. When a call lands while every crew is already committed, we may forward it to another trusted local provider so nobody is left waiting through a problem, and we tell the caller plainly when that happens. It is the exception, not how we run.
Pest guides
The guides behind the guides
Our pest guides library is written and maintained by Darlene Pemberton, our pest control guides editor. She turns what the crews see in Belleville-area homes into plain guides: how to tell termites from rot, what a recluse actually looks like, why ants come back, and how to read the noises in an attic. The goal is simple: help people understand what they are dealing with before they spend money on it.
